Aha!! Everyone I see is going festive and adding all pinks and reds to their #OOTD. Zari work , sequins, gota patti and heavy jewelry is being flaunted on every blogger’s posts and so in their selfies. Seems everyone out their is all decked up to welcome all the weddings and festivals with open arms and they must. Festive bells are on!
But,with all the accessory and clothes we buy,one must also remember skin care is equally important and as weather gets more harsh,skin care becomes mandatory. Are you thinking that why are I am talking about skin care in our FAB BAG post? It is because most of the products I have received in my OCTOBER FAB BAG are skin care products.
So, let’s see what I got inside my Fab Bag which is festival special.
Fab Bag is known for their thoughtful and innovative packaging and this time also they have maintained their exclusivity by sending all the sample products in a beautiful pouch which has an ethnic touch to it. The bag is not their usual zipper pouches instead they have sent perfect stitch of red and pink combination bag with a chic gotta patti lining on the closure of the bag. It is a button close pouch and made with raw silk giving it a ‘INDIAN CHIC’ look. 😉 You can even use this as your carry pouch of your other products because it is a folding pouch and doesn’t really take much space.
This time I have got four products in my pouch. As,it was festive special we were asked to choose one product of our choice. I will tell you below which one I chose for myself.

These all four products I have already tried for two weeks and after that I am suggesting you what is fab and what is drab.

Spa Ceylon White Jasmine Facial Masque
Facial Masque are as important (once in a week) for your skin as much as it is to cleanse your face everyday.We need to use face mask to get rid of embedded impurities in our skin. SPA CEYLON is being introduced by Fab Bag for the first time. So,on the first look it made me think if it will be a nice to use product or not but I would say ‘It’s a MUST have’. In my Fab Bag it came in a sample size of 50g and is recommended or normal to dry kin.
This SPA CEYLON White Jasmine Facial Masque is made up of rich formula which contains pure Jasmine oil and Fine Natural Clay that not only cleanse & refresh the skin but also gives it a radiant glow.
It comes with a refreshing white Jasmine fragrance and has smooth texture to be applied on the face. It is advised to apply and leave the mask for ten minutes and then to wash off after a light massage.
Results – Absolutely smooth skin with a sharp glow on the face which stays for long. It does not make my skin dry and gives me a radiant and fresh skin. I am planning to buy the full packaging of the same.
Recommended – Yes.
2. Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub
Exfoliation is necessary for body to retain its smoothness and removal of dead skin and Tiramisu will do it for you.
Tiramisu Body Scrub is must-have exfoliator with its rich chocolaty aroma and brown cane sugar that polishes the skin,making it soft and smooth to touch.
The fragrance is exotic and chocolaty will force you to smell it often and again. Brown cane sugar has always been recommended in home remedies to get a smooth skin and this scrub not less than a great example of the same.
Results – It’s granules deeply exfoliates the skin leaving behind a feathery skin.Regular use of the body scrub followed by body lotion will make your skin happy and healthy.
Recommended – Yes. A must try.
3. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion
This brand is also a newly added member to the Fab Bag bucket. A great choice I must say.
Palmer’s as claimed by the brand is ‘World’s No.1 Cocos Butter Brand and has a wide range of skin care products to try from.
This iconic beauty classic has pure cocoa butter that melts on contact with skin. Rich and luxe, it locks in moisture and protects skin from harsh elements in the environment.
This butter formula lotion consist of Vitamin E – a fat-soluble antioxidant that is essential for the maintenance of healthy skin.
The lotion has a bit thick consistency making it difficult to use via this bottle.But nevertheless the benefits have upper hand over the cons. Also,it is PARABEN AND PHTHALATE FREE which are added to many cosmetics and can have harmful effect to the body. This way it adds another Yes to why you must choose this product.
Have you ever tried BODYSHOP Cocoa body butter and love its fragrance? Then you will love this too. The fragrance is almost similar. This sultry smelling lotion will not only soften your skin but will also soothe your senses.I LOVE IT !!
The 50ml sample size bottle is being sent in my Fab Bag and is very handy. You can make it your everyday travel moisturiser.
Results – Softens the skin and maintains till upto almost 3-4 hours. An alluring smell which will spread immediately after application. It is paraben and phthalate free and gives you natural moisture.
Recommended – YES. YES. YES.
4. Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquer – O’Boy
As, I mentioned before this time Fab Bag gave us an opportunity to choose one product from our end that will be added to our kit. I chose this because of my love for blush and cheek stains. They are savior for no make up days.
Choosing this did not turn out to be a great idea actually 🙁 . This is the second product I have tried from the brand Make up revolution.The last one received was Concealor stick in My September Fab Bag. That also did not work out for me and same goes for this. I chose the color thinking it would be delicious pink color but came out to be a different one,my bad!
Still I thought to give it a try and use it but it takes real hardwork to blend it well and is a little loud for me and shows on the skin. So, not really my thing.
Recommended – Not really.
