THE ROYAL AFFAIR

While my visits to Jodhpur, I always dreamt of doing a wedding or a dreamy shoot in the city. The city which is closely knitted to my heart, the city I have spent two years full of fun, learning and growing. The city which gave me enormous memories to cherish and share. My love for Jodhpur is not hidden from you guys and time and again, I make sure to show my gratitude to the blue city by revealing its magic in front of you.

On my recent visit to the suncity, Jodhpur, I thought to do some blog shoots along with the work the visit was planned for. I was already daydreaming about the outfit I must choose, how to plan it and how will I actually make it all happen. As I just told you, it was a work trip and I was really short of time, I had to plan this shoot in few hours I would have left with. After a lot of brainstorming about the locations, managing the photographer and outfit, I was excited to the core to see the outcomes.

This outfit which I picked up for shooting in my favorite location was by my very sweet, adorable blogger friend, now a budding designer of a bespoke clothing label – ASMIZA_OFFICIAL (asmiza_official)(Instagram). Holding a designer diploma, she curates designs for modern women. From casual tops to occasions specific, her label takes inspiration from women who wish to look good in reasonable pricing. The designs and fabrics are remarkably well chosen and silhouettes are luring.  You would think I might be biased but trust me on this, my first reaction on receiving her first package was “WOW”.

 

This long skirt in wine color with 4 meter of flare comes with can-can attached. Beautifully detailed with the pleats on the waist underlined with golden belt, is not less than a dream. I just truly loved the fabric and love the way this skirt flows.

While styling I picked up a white crisp shirt and pearl accessories to give it a royal look. I felt nonetheless than a princess and you can actually see how tantalizing it looked. Thanks to the wild breeze which helped in capturing divine pictures. How beautiful a woman looks when the wind plays with her hair and let them flow wild, isn’t hidden from us, right?

Talking about shooting this at Jodhpur, the location was preferred because of is royal feel and the enchanting vibes it delivers. This outfit could not have been shot at any better place than this. Both had a story, Jodhpur bawls out loud about its royalty and the rawness it has. On the other hand, this skirt spoke about the prepossessing and creative mind, owner of this label ASMITA VERMA has been blessed with.

Beautifully captured in different locations of Mehrangarh fort, Jodhpur. I really can’t stop admiring the work done by the label and the photographer. I will stop writing here and you may continue looking at the images and please do not forget to share your views because they motivate me.
