AIFW SS16 is over now and I was lucky enough to attend the shows presented by few of the renowned and also upcoming designers, who participated in the AMAZON INDIA FASHION WEEK SS16.
A grandeur opening by Sanjay Garg using jewel tones, silk and structured silhouettes marked a great start for the 5 day show presented by FDCI and partnered by Maybelline New York.
The finale show was taken to another level by the presence of 16 renowned designers taking us to ‘Banaras’ and emulating the essence of Banaras in their collection. Every designer was mesmerising in their own way. Few of the finale designers were Manish Arora, Gauri and Nainika, JJ Vallaya and Sabyasachi Mukherjii.
In few other blogs, I will share with you all which were the best pieces from every designers collection. Till then let’s see what I chose to wear on Day 2 of Amazon India Fashion Week.
What I wore to AIFW SS16?
It was not decided that I will be attending the Fashion Week so,did not get time to decide my outfits beforehand. Though I managed to buy some great stuff from H&M,Forever New and then clubbed them together to give a streetstyle casual chic look with H&M distressed boyfriend denim and shirt and gave it a classy look with a superchic black bag by Forever New and a statement necklace by Fablley.
