CORPORATE WOMAN GOES INDIAN Ft. CopperKrome

Unlike my usual posts,this outfit was not really a planned one.I was sorting out my mother’s closet and found out this vibrant,beautiful Bandhani Sari which was struggling to be worn by my mother some fine day.

But,it could never get a chance to be draped around the breathtaking silhouette of that lady who is aging gracefully.Hence,I thought to style it on me with a difference, though.

A lethal combination of blue and green given more power by BANDHANI (tie and dye) art,this sari looked like piece of an art to me.

It looked equally pretty when work like conventional saris but though to fusion both the souls instilled in me.

The Corporate woman which often desires to wear Indian but still want to give it a not so ethnic touch.This is what made me choose a white pants and high neck top with puffed sleeves.

Whenever I walk through the streets and the sight of Indian Woman in sari has always thrilled me. The reason being the way they drape their sari in different ways.This is another unusual take on draping a sari.

This story was weaved around Bandhani Sari and the ouftit was balanced with COPPERKROME embroidered wooden clutch.

THE KRAFT FESTIVAL – KRAFTLY BLOGGERS MEET

METAL & LEATHER – This was brand was most creative and unique amongst all the ones present at The Kraftly Festival.The brand’s motive is to design and bring to you one of its’ kind furniture items which are made on recycling concept majorly.One could find out destroyed AUDI’s engine and bonnet used artistically in a sofa table and lamps made out of iron pipes.Interesting right?

GEL-KAYANO TRAINER EVO :

The GEL-KAYANO TRAINER EVO is based on the original GEL-KAYANO TRAINER. Its unique ‘MONOSOCK’ and characteristic ASICS stripe design is kept as the original while the upper is evolved to pursue a simplistic sporty look.

GEL-LYTE III :

This heritage item is more industrial than futuristic. The masterpiece GEL-LYTE III model reflects the shoe’s original purpose of performance running footwear with high level of technology and function. The new design pays homage to the future with an industrial look inspired by space-age rockets and aircraft. The GEL-LYTE III was the basic running shoe introduced in 1990. The tongue was made of sponge, and its main characteristic was the original, laterally ‘SPLIT-TONGUE’ construction that cradled the arch. The unique design created a comfortable fit, as the tongue did not shift during movement.

GEL-LYTE V :
The GEL-LYTE V was the basic running shoe introduced in 1993. The model featured ‘MONOSOCK’ construction that integrated a highly elastic tongue and leather upper, which improved the fit. A number of design variations were available, including nylon and suede models.

SHOPPERS STOP’S FASHION IN BEING YOURSELF

Often we see slender,flawless models walking the ramp for the brand or for their Fashion Shows but rare is the occasion when we see the customers who shop from the brands are also their models.

Irrespective of the body curves,close to perfect skin or the perfect height needed to flaunt their collection,unlike many SHOPPERS STOP chose their few real customers to walk the ramp. The brand gave their staff and customers an opportunity to get styled by very talented students from INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF DESIGN. This event was organised at SHOPPERS STOP,Rajouri Garden in collaboration with INSD,one of the finest designing institute in Delhi offering variety of courses to choose from.

Coming back to the SHOPPERS STOP FASHION IN BEING YOURSELF event,customers chose from different brands available at the store and walked the ramp.Each one of them looked very confident and stylish.The brands chosen were from Haute Curry , Elliza Donatein, Stop, Life, Rocky Star, Kashish,Vettorio Fratini and many more,presenting SHOPPERS STOP’S SS16 Collection which ranged from vivid colors to in trend prints.

INDIA MODERN

‘India Modern’,AIFW famed term has been used and styled by fashion bloggers and influencers in MANY unimaginable ways.Giving modern touch to the ethnic is a passé now the trend is to style your casuals in an Indianized way.

Here today,I have thought to re-purpose my old outfits in a new stylish way.Remember? Last year,asymmetric tops were a rage and we all have worn them till they turned grey.

There are multiple ways to use your one outfit in just the cliché way.All you got to do is-THINK. Yes,just mix and match,layer or DIY and give your lifeless or fad fashion a new look.

If you have a top like mine(the one I am wearing in the images) which has a stretchable fabric you can use the same top by wrapping the asymmetric fabric around your waist and give it a classy crop top look.Also,here I am wearing it over the denim,try creating a look by wearing it with your palazzo or may be a long skirt and I am sure it will give you the look of the day.

What unique you will notice in today’s post is that not only top has been reused instead my accessories have been. I have used my silver coin necklace with tassel earrings.The silver necklace looked mundane to me on this outfit and hence I though to add some colors by attaching my tassel loops to it and you can see how gorgeous it was looking .Also,anklets of my mother have been attached to one pocket of the denim and used as a pocket chain.
